1. Red Iguana

Enjoy the best American-Mexican dishes such as burritos, chimichangas, tacos, enchiladas, and much more. The restaurant sits on a busy commercial street in the Rose Park neighborhood of Salt Lake City and is always packed.


2. Ruth’s Diner

2017 marks Ruth’s Diner’s 87th anniversary, which makes it the second oldest place to eat in Utah. It’s a historic diner, well known for its “biscuit-baking bad boy”. Its sun-soaked, sprawling patio is a favorite spot for having breakfast and lunch.

Dig into their classic dishes such as braised chicken, Grandma Claire’s deep-fried mac and cheese, meatloaf, pot roast still pepper, including others. The diner is just a short drive from downtown and offers scenic canyon views.


3. Valter’s Osteria

4. Bombay House

If you really want a taste of Indian cuisine, Bombay House is definitely the place to be. Opened in 1993, Bombay House offers the finest Indian dishes- spicy, aromatic, and succulent. You will absolutely love their chicken tikka Marsala and naan bread.

The food is cooked to perfection and the service is amazing. You won’t find any beef dishes though as a cow is considered sacred in India. All their dishes are prepared following the oldest traditions of vintage Indian cooking, which includes the use of a clay Tandoori oven.

5. Squatters Pub Brewery

For delicious foods and good tasting beers, Squatters Pub Brewery is an excellent spot. Since the first Squatters beer was poured in 1989, the restaurant/pub has grown into a top-class eatery joint providing a wide variety of beers and food.

Squatters offers a buzzing atmosphere, and the food is served by friendly, excellent staff. Pick your favorite dishes from their menu – whether you are a vegan or are on a gluten-free diet, there is something for everyone. The food is plentiful too!!!


6. Red Rock Brewing Company

7. The Copper Onion

The Copper Onion is one of the highest rated restaurants in Salt Lake City, offering eclectic dishes and a great dining experience. The restaurant attracts both visitors and locals in masses as it is a trendy spot with an excellent menu.

The service is amazing and although the place is a little bit more expensive than other Salt Lake City restaurants, it’s definitely worth it! The menu is diverse.

Because the place is so popular, its best to arrive a few minutes before they open since wait times can run from forty-five minutes to one hour.
